As you may have known, Boardgamecafe.net
was started back in 2005 as a means to organize open
boardgame meetups around the Klang Valley. We began with
a humble and small group of gamers meeting up regularly
at Games Circle, and Lancang Cheras.
Early this year we've taken the plunge to venture into
the boardgame distribution business and together with a
Bangkok-based company, Boardgamecafe.net now brings you
the latest in Euro Designer games from Rio Grande,
Z-man, Asmodee, Fantasy Flight, Days of Wonder, Mayfair,
etc.
We hope that our monthly newsletter
will be your source for upcoming boardgame meetups &
events, links to session reports, announcement of sale
promotions, and listing of new boardgame arrivals.
NOVEMBER 2010
November 2010 has just ended and what a
month it was! We took delivery of the first SEAL
(south-east asian language) version of CITADELS
a hugely popular card game from a major US publisher,
Fantasy Flight Games, featuring rules in Bahasa
Malaysia.
We became the first boardgame company in Malaysia to
contribute as a named sponsor to a charity event, the
popular
Terry Fox Run.
CK, one of our coolie workers
was featured in Hiew's Boardgame Blog,
a hugely popular blog that's widely read by the global
boardgaming community.
Lastly we kickstart the local Christmas boardgame
shopping spree which our Black Friday Sale
promo, which some customers have called it "The
Best in Town"!
